Where Did the Omni Come Down on the Alamo?

This weekend, the Omni Hotel in Dallas drew attention after the Super Bowl.

I understand Dallas Cowboys fans don’t much care for the Philadelphia Eagles. Lights in Dallas have taken controversial positions before, though.

A few years ago, Reunion Tower offered congratulations to TCU after the Horned Frogs beat SMU. Seeing “TCU” plastered in bright lights in Downtown Dallas was significant enough to cause me to put down a taco I was eating at Fuel City and take a picture.

But all this attention toward the Omni was unwarranted. It turns out, the Omni did notactually salute the Eagles. A radio station owned by a company that recently went bankrupt appears to have started this situation.

And I’m happy to join in.

My Photoshop skills may not be up to snuff. In fact, I’m not even entirely sure what “Photoshop” is. Instead, I’ll use Paint to rabble rouse. I think you’ll see, it’s just as convincing:

Why is the Omni constantly reminding us that the markets are tanking?!

That one might hit a little close to home, though. We can also consider controversial positions on other highly publicized competitions:

Meanwhile, the Fort Worth Omni just stands there all classy-looking, making the skyline look majestic.
